Grown-up Rusty Griswold wants to shake up family life, reconnect with his wife, and bond with their two sons. Inspired by the childhood trip he remembers, he takes them on a cross-country road trip to Walley World, the theme park he hopes will bring everyone closer. But as the Griswolds head for their destination, the vacation proves far less simple than Rusty imagined.
