In Detroit, pop-culture enthusiast Clarence marries Alabama, a woman tied to a pimp, and their new life together takes a dangerous turn when he steals a stash of cocaine from her pimp. Hoping to turn the drugs into money, the couple heads to Hollywood to find a buyer. But the cocaine belongs to mobsters, and they are determined to track Clarence and Alabama down and take it back.
