Self Made Cameraman

Set in 1912, this adventurous tragedy reimagines the lost expedition of Estonia’s first filmmaker, Johannes Paasuke. Driven by hopes of traveling with a film camera and finding happiness, Paasuke sets out with his good friend Volter to document Setomaa, where they spend an extraordinary week. Only seven minutes of the real footage survived, while his diary disappeared.
