A celebrity actress lands her dream role playing Belle Gunness, the real-life 19th-century serial killer, in a new feature film. As she throws herself into the part, her performance begins to bleed into her life beyond the set. With each scene, the boundary between acting and reality grows less certain as she starts to take on the traits of the murderer she portrays.
