At an elite Northeastern university built on the site of a Salem-era gallows hill, three women struggle to find their place within a world shaped by politics, privilege and tradition. When anonymous racist attacks target a Black freshman who believes she is being haunted by ghosts, the women face terrifying signs of the school’s past and present, and question where the true menace lies.
