A young American backpacker travels through Thailand after her best friend is kidnapped, following the trail through a place that first seems like a tropical escape. As her search pulls her deeper into unfamiliar territory, she does not realize she has drawn the attention of a sociopath who becomes dangerously obsessed with her.
