During the English Civil War, two soldiers on opposite sides are drawn into a dangerous struggle far from the battlefield. Trapped together in a shadowy forest, they must face more than their own hostility as the woods fall under the control of a witch. With escape uncertain, enemies are forced into the same terrifying terrain, where war gives way to something far older and more sinister.
